At the 2013 Alpineski Welmeisterschaft they even released a song about Schladming "live dabei!"

Nowhere else is the start of the ski season so imposingly celebrated as in Schladming. Every year top international artists gather at a sensational event location at the foot of the legendary Planai.Celebrate the start of the best season with us & enjoy a sensational ski party on the Planai on the first weekend of December!

Last years we celebrated the opening of the season with number 1 Dj's: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Martin Garrix, but also the german punk-rock formation "Die Totenhosen".

The night race - most exciting slalom

Every year the Planaï hosts this big event. The international top of professional skiers will battle to be the fastest. 50.000 fans will attent to this exciting match and will create an outrageous vibe. .

If you want to try the world-cup slope you can follow slope number "3" It's 3,4 km. The pro's achieve speeds above 120 km/h!

Musicians in Schladming

The famous "folk rock 'n roller" Andreas Gabalier will give his only outdoor concert at the Planai on the 25th of Augustus 2018. Thousands of fans from every will visit this yearly event at the Planai.

Every July Schladming hosts the "mid-europe wind music festival". With over 30 orchestra and 2500 musicians there will be countless concerts during this 5 day event. The highlight will be the TATTOO-marchshow with over 600 participants.

At april 2019 we expect another edition of the "Music-ski world cup". An exuberant blent of traditional Austrian music and fun at the slopes.

"Ennstal classic" and "Planai classic"

For the 7th time in a row Schladming hosted the legendary bike summerparty. Cool bikes, roaring engines, friendly people and big sounds of live bands. The guided tours are held in the beautifull surroundings of Schladming. A very cool and pleasent bike event!

Oldtimers will race in the winterwonderland of Schladming in between 3-5 Januari 2019. The race will be held at the Planai and they will conquer the snow at the Dachstein gletsjer. Spectaculair for sure!

"Cruising in the last paradise" is the theme of the Ennstal classic at Gröbming in between 18 en 21 juli 2018. The finish will be in the city centre of Schladming. Enjoy these unique oldtimers from up close when you are chilling at a terrace in Schladming.
